🧼 1. What Are These Stickers, Anyway?

There are actually multiple types of stickers on iOS 18:

  • App-based sticker packs (from App Store)
  • Stickers come from another app (embed)
  • Custom stickers from your photos
  • Stickers others send you (which you can save)
  • “Recently used” stickers in Messages

And each type has its own way of deleting. So let’s go one by one.

🧊 2. Remove Frequently or Recently Used Stickers

If you just want to clean up the cluttered row:

  1. Open Messages
  2. Tap the plus (+) icon
  3. Tap Stickers
  4. In the sticker drawer, tap the "clock"(Recent)
  5. Long-press the sticker you want to remove
  6. Tap Remove
⚠️ Note: This doesn’t delete the sticker—it just removes it from the suggestions.
You can still access the full sticker set from the drawer.

🧨 3. Delete Downloaded or Photo-Created Stickers

You can create stickers from your photos, or save ones sent by friends.

To delete these custom stickers:

  1. Open Messages
  2. Tap the plus (+) icon
  3. Tap Stickers
  4. In the sticker drawer, tap "crescent moon" icon next to the "clock"(Recent)
  5. Long-press the sticker you want to remove
  6. Tap Delete
🧠 Difference from “Recents” Stickers:Deleting from “Recents” just hides it temporarily.Deleting from “Downloaded/Created” removes it from your phone for good. No take-backs.

🧹 4. Delete Third-Party Sticker Packs Properly (iOS 18 Only Way)

Yes, some stickers are app. But no, not THE app you see on home screen or app library.

Here’s how to remove them, for real:

  1. Open any Messages conversation
  2. Tap the plus (+) icon
  3. Tap Stickers
  4. Swipe left to right until you see “Edit”
here we're, the final destination to "Manage Sticker Apps", hell yeah!!
  5. And tap Edit (top-left)
  6. Tap the red minus (–) next to the sticker pack you want gone

⚠️ Special Case: App-Embedded Sticker Packs

Some stickers come bundled with a regular app (like Reddit, Fitness, etc). You can’t delete these stickers directly.

You have two choices:

  • Go to Messages > Stickers > Edit
    ➤ Toggle it OFF
  • Or delete the Parent app to remove its sticker asset, if only you wish.

  1. Long-press the message with the sticker on it
  2. Tap Sticker Details…
  3. Swipe left on the sticker → Tap Delete
This only removes the sticker from that message. The rest of your collection stays intact.

🧠 Wrap-Up: Sticker Control Is Finally Possible in iOS 18

While Apple still doesn’t give you a “Delete All Stickers” button (rude!), iOS 18 gives you surgical control:

  • 🚫 Remove third-party sticker packs from the Messages drawer
  • 🗑 Clean up recent suggestions
